The Perilous Boyhood of J. Edward Wright — Sept 25th Potluck and Program

Join us for a Potluck Dinner and Talk by Rebecca Noel on Friday, September 25. Her topic: The Perilous Boyhood of J. Edward Wright, our Church minister from 1869-1909. Wright kept a diary almost daily from his eleventh birthday until he went to college. Her presentation will follow Wright as he explores Montpelier, Boston and the New England countryside amid rumblings of an impending civil war. Rebecca Noel is Associate Professor of History at Plymouth State University, NH. Potluck at 6:00 p.m. in the Vestry; presentation to follow at 7:00. —The 150th Steering Committee.
