The science fiction writer, Octavia Butler, once wrote a note to herself with the lines, “So be it! See to it!” She and other science fiction writers draw on the power of imagination to create new worlds and new visions. We, too, draw on our imaginations to creatively shape the world around us and our own lives. What does it take to bring the change we imagine into reality?
