The UCM Governing Board thanks all of you who participated in our Annual Business Meeting via Zoom – a demonstration of our commitment to the Fifth Principle of Unitarian Universalism! For those of you who were unable to join us virtually, the Board wanted to provide a brief summary of the meeting.
The Congregation approved the proposed General Fund and Capital Fund budgets as proposed by the Board, Finance Committee, and Executive Team.
Vic Guadagno was reelected to the Board for an additional two-year term and also elected to the officer position of President. Ryan Kane was reelected to the Board for a one-year term (filling out the remaining year of Paul Hartmann’s term as he leaves the Board) and was also elected to the Vice-President position. Denise Bailey, Ansel Ploog, and Meredith Warner were newly elected to two-year terms on the Board. Meredith has already been serving on the Board as she was appointed to fill the remainder of Maria Parr’s term upon Maria’s departure from the Board in September 2020. We are grateful to all who put themselves forward as candidates for the Board!
The Congregation also approved amendments to the Church Bylaws to clarify protocols in regards to Board Members and Officers. The Bylaws changes can be found on pages 36 and 37 of the 2021 Annual Report.
Please listen to the audio recording or review the minutes which will be posted on the Church website.
Thanks again to everyone who made our second virtual Congregational meeting a success!
