The Spiritual Center of Nonviolence (Worship Service) January 15, 2023

Principles of nonviolence have grounded the struggles for equality, freedom, and justice in the United States and across the world. On this Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, let us reflect on how these principles served as a spiritual center for the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s, how these principles continue to ground movements for justice and liberation today, and what it takes to uphold nonviolence as a central spiritual discipline Music will be provided by the Montpelier Community Gospel A Capella Choir.
