We share in our annual Flower Communion Sunday commemorating the 100th Anniversary of this ritual which was first celebrated on June 4, 1923, in the Unitarian Church in Prague. The ceremony was conceived by the Rev. Norbert Čapek who felt that people in the Church needed a symbolic ritual that would bind them more closely together and that would be accessible to anyone regardless of their religious backgrounds. Music will be provided by the UCM choir singing a newly discovered song by Norbert Capek, “My Life is Made Worthwhile,” and Eliza Thomas on piano.
