We come back together to begin a new church year with our annual Ingathering Sunday: Water Ceremony. All are invited to bring water collected over the summer to share in a ritual of reconnection and renewal. As we have just experienced, water can be a destructive force but it can also be a source of fun, healing, and nurturing. Whether your water symbolizes sorrow and loss or joy and gratitude, you and your water will be welcome. Music will be provided by the UCM Choir singing Find Our Way Home, by Maggie Wheeler, and Eliza Thomas, Piano.
