As the planetary climate grows warmer and weather extremes become more common, we cannot deny the impact of human activity on the earth. Deep transformation is needed to address this planetary crisis which we now feel very close to home. With the Jewish season of repentance as a guide, we will explore what it could mean to face the ways we have failed to care for the planet and turn toward a renewal of kinship and collective stewardship. Music will be provided by the UCM Choir, joined by members of the Montpelier Flood Choir, singing Requiem by Eliza Gilkyson.
