May 26, 2024 (Worship Service) The Blessed Rage for Order: Challenges of Pluralism & Progress

Today’s service explores challenges and opportunities as we engage with pluralism, this month’s worship theme, and a core value in the UUA’s proposed revisions to Article II (Purposes and Covenant). How does living at this time in history, at UCM and in the wider society, invite and challenge us to find meaning and purpose? Is the “Blessed Rage for Order” a useful lens? How can we sustain hope?

After 13 years of practicing public interest law and attending a UU congregation, Peter attended divinity school. He was co-ordained to Community Ministry by the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry in Roxbury, Massachusetts, in May, 1991. He and Abby (their daughter, Molly, grew up in the congregation), have been active with UCM since 1994.
