A memorial service for the Rev. Marjorie Rebmann will take place at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier on Friday, August 16 at 10:00 am. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome.

The Rev. Marjorie Rebmann (March 22, 1944 to July 4, 2024) served as the 11th Settled Minister of UCM from 1981 until her retirement in 2008. She was awarded Minister Emerita status that year and continued to live in East Montpelier in the years that followed.

During her tenure as UCM’s first woman minister, Maggie shared her gracious spirit, insightful preaching, and abiding humor with the congregation. The church grew in membership and leadership during her twenty-seven years of ministry.

The UCM Women’s Alliance is organizing the reception and would appreciate the assistance of church members.
