Fire Drill Facilitator Opening

Wanting a fun, once-a-year task that contributes to the safety of everyone visiting our building on Sundays? Volunteer to be our Fire Drill Facilitator.

UCM conducts fire drills at least once a year during a Sunday service. For several years, Tina Muncy has been performing this role. She is ready and eager to train her successor!

This role involves engaging in some pre-fire drill education with the congregation, learning about the church’s fire alarm system, being onsite the day of the fire drill to remind those present how to exit and where to congregate, and to meet with Fire Department officers who respond to the call.

Tina hopes that a person interested in being the next Fire Drill Facilitator will be able to shadow her as she conducts this year’s fire drill sometime before summer. If you’re interested, please contact Tina directly (contact info in Breeze).
