May, 2025 ~ Executive Team Member Opening

Looking for a way to contribute to UCM that involves time rather than money? Consider becoming a member of the Executive Team (ET).  ET members are volunteers who work with Reverend Joan in managing UCM at an operational level. The ET does not make broad governing policies or set goals for UCM. Rather, it implements the Church’s Mission, operating by consensus in conjunction with the Minister.

Regular meetings occur twice a month, typically lasting two hours apiece, addressing everything from physical plant issues to personnel vacancies. The ET’s routine tasks include working annually with the Finance Committee on preparing the initial proposed budget for the Board’s review and convening Committee of Chairs meetings multiple times a year. In addition, it has been called upon to assist in such unforeseen events as the COVID pandemic and the July 2023 flood.
