Othering creates rifts and fragmentation between us and is far too pervasive. We cannot experience full belonging in spaces where we have been made other. How might we confront the tendency to “other” and embrace practices that lead to true belonging rather than exclusion? Music will include the choir, directed by Matthew Torrez, singing “Homeward Bound,” with Sara Huff on piano.
