The Stewardship Committee fosters a spirit of generosity and shared financial responsibility in our church community. It develops ways of raising the revenue necessary to carry out the church’s mission.
In 2016 a sub-committee of the Stewardship Committee, “Planned Giving,” was established to support the long-term financial health of the church by encouraging bequests and other planned gifts, and by providing members and friends with the information and tools to facilitate such giving.
“Leave a Legacy” – UCM’s Planned Giving Program
The planned Giving Policy of the UCM’s Board states “to foster a deep and abiding sense of generosity among members and friends,” to the end that they may include the church as a beneficiary in their estate plans. You may download the policy in its entirety here. We ask, if you have already provided for the church in this way, to let Peter Thoms know. If you would consider making such an arrangement, please contact Peter, Brenda Bean, or Paul Ohlson. You may also download UCM’s Planned Giving Form here.
