What is it?

On the first Saturday of December the church community hosts a very popular annual Old-Fashioned Holiday Fair from 9 AM until 2 PM. Items to be sold include children’s books and toys, pUCM Winter Night Viewlants, wreaths, jewelry, food, country collectibles, boutique items, attic treasures. and many more. Tea and coffee with pastries are served from 9 AM until 11 AM, and lunch is available starting at noon. A lunch highlight every year is Norma’s wonderful ham loaf. Music is performed throughout the day. This is a major fund raiser for the church and it is a great opportunity to buy local, recycle, and save money on gifts – in a very festive atmosphere.

How can I get involved?

Volunteers are needed to help in many ways. You can bring items and food to be sold. You can help set up and take down

tables in the vestry. You can help decorate wreaths. You can perform music. You can help staff a table. You can shop and enjoy the company of friends and family in a warm holiday atmosphere. And you can even help in the kitchen and do dishes.

How do I volunteer?

The Co-Chairs of the Holiday Fair are John & Janet Poeton. To offer suggestions or to volunteer, contact them. In November there will be sign up forms at the coffee hour after the Sunday church service.
