April 2, Passover: Finding Joy in the Same Old Story

The Torah asks the Jewish people to retell the Exodus story each year, as part of the Passover festival, and each year, people glean new wisdom in exploring the traditional story of the liberation of the Israelites departure from Egypt, from slavery to freedom. In anticipation of the start of Passover, Rowan Van Ness will draw from her studies and experience in Jewish community to lead us in an exploration of joy, beauty, and resistance to change. In addition to serving as UCM’s Acting Director of Lifespan Spiritual Exploration, Rowan is a UU minister in preliminary fellowship.
