In this service we explore the widening concepts of restorative and transformative justice. What does it mean to do justice that seeks to be both healing and accountable for all involved?
Rev. Abigail Stockman (she/her) describes herself as semi-retired. She has served UU Congregations in Rhode Island, NY, Maryland, NH, and Vermont, in a variety of transitional ministries. In addition to congregational work her ministries have included hospice, prison, and justice settings. After a decade of volunteer and staff work in one of Vermont’s, now 19, Restorative Justice Centers, she is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Justice through Eastern Mennonite University’s College of Justice and Peacebuilding.
