June 25, Summer Meditation Service & GA Watch Party

Continuing a tradition of close to 20 years, meetings for silent and spoken meditation will occur in a welcoming circle of chairs in the vestry on Sundays at 10:00, June 18 through September 3. The gatherings will not be available on Zoom.

A reading will be available as we gather. After 45 minutes, whether the meeting has been silent until then or not, conversation about the reading – or other interests – will be welcome. For questions, please contact Pat Carstensen; 223-2233; oaktreedance@hotmail.com  or Peter Thoms; 223-2648;  peter.thoms1@gmail.com  We look forward to seeing you this summer.

Join others from UCM for a watch party of the GA Sunday Morning worship service!

The pandemic has wrought change and created uncertainty for institutions, like our Unitarian Universalist congregations, and our wider world. Who and what are we becoming, individually and collectively? Our GA Sunday service explores these themes as we gather in community to celebrate the best of who we UUs are. Worship leaders include: Rev. Manish Mishra-Marzetti, First UU Congregation of Ann Arbor; Rev. Danielle DiBona, Chaplain, UUA Board of Trustees; Stella Anderson, First UU Congregation of Ann Arbor; Janice Marie Johnson, The Community Church of New York UU; Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd, River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
