One’s life purpose can often feel grand and ambitious. Some of us might glibly say our purpose is to save the world, which of course none of us can do. But when our meaningful actions are thoughtful and come from love, now and then we can save corners of the world and our own lives. Music will include Kate Latz singing Sarah McLachlan’s “Prayer of St. Francis,” and the UCM choir singing “One Voice” by the Wailin’ Jennys. View or download the order of service.
March Worship Theme: Purpose
Connecting with purpose can steady us in uncertain times. Our sense of purpose may be crystal clear or clear as mud. Yet, we seek meaning through connection to our core beliefs. Our purposeful actions – large and small – allow us to share our gifts, make a difference in the world, and ultimately answer the lifelong question, why am I here? Let us explore this question together as we support one another in this search for meaning and discern how we are called in this moment.
