October 28, The Shelter of the Ancestors

During this time of year, many religious and spiritual traditions recognize the thinning of the veil between the living and the dead. In this all ages/multigenerational service, we remember and honor our ancestors and find sanctuary in the legacies they have left us. You are invited to bring a small object or photo symbolic of an ancestor who has had meaning for you. An ancestor can be anyone – related to you or not – whose past life shapes your current one.

9AM: Bronwyn Fryer, guitar and vocal; Dov and Jacob Schiller, percussion
11AM: UCM Choir
