Welcome
Welcome to the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. We are glad you are exploring our religious community. You have likely made your way to our website because you are in search of something. I first made my way to a Unitarian Universalist congregation because I was in search of a place to bring my questions about life’s meaning, a place to have my values of inclusion and justice affirmed, a place to be my whole self.
The Unitarian Church of Montpelier is a community where we search together sometimes finding answers and sometimes discovering even deeper questions. We are an inclusive congregation welcoming all people — of all ages, classes, ethnicities, genders, physical abilities and sexual orientations — into our community.
We are a caring community sharing in life’s challenges and joys with open hearts. We are a community of seekers discovering new truths to guide our spiritual practices and ethical living. We are a multi-generational community of babies, toddlers, youth, young adults, parents, retirees, and elders forging connections across generations. We are a congregation committed to seeking justice and peace in the broader world. We are a community that joyfully celebrates life through the spoken words, music, and rituals of our worship services.
We welcome you to join us as you explore your own spiritual journey and to participate in the multi-faceted life of our congregation.
