Sunday Morning Worship
The sanctuary is now open for in-person worship every Sunday at 10am. We also offer an online live stream of the Sunday service available on our UCM YouTube Channel.
While Covid-19 continues to be present, we strongly encourage vaccination and boosters for in-person participation. Masks are optional. Our sanctuary and church building now benefit from a comprehensive ventilation system which greatly improves the quality of the air in the building.
As we reopen after the devastating flooding of July 2023, we adjust to the current realities of our physical space. Read this post for more details on what to expect upon visiting our church building.
We gather together in a spiritual community because we need constant reminders of what matters most in life. Our congregation calls us to be our best selves. We learn to live with more wisdom, more connection, and more compassion.
Our Sunday morning worship service weaves together our own thoughts and experiences with music, beauty, poetry, and words that both comfort and challenge. We draw upon a rich diversity of religious and secular traditions and resources for inspiration.
Each service is led by our Minister or a guest preacher as well as a team of church volunteers. Our church choir, conducted by the Director of Music, sings nearly every Sunday.
All ages are welcome to join in the Sunday morning service. Children and youth programming, as well as nursery care, are also offered on Sunday mornings. Rocking chairs are available at the rear of the sanctuary, and activity bags are available for children to engage in quiet activities during the service.
Please note that our Sunday worship service is live streamed to our YouTube channel and video recordings remain available online. For the sake of privacy, we have designated pews in the rear of the sanctuary that are off camera and not included in the live stream.
